Our in-store collection of grape varietals span the entire globe, from old world red classics like Amarone and Barolo, to new world hybrids such as Malbec and Meritage. Our whites have an equally international appeal; from favoured Chardonnays and Pinot Grigios to impressive new world Sauvignon Blancs.
Utilizing various techniques, we can further develop a more complex and flavourful wine; such as oak casking in imported Hungarian barrels and toasted oaks varying in size, texture, and intensity.
For your premium red wines, the actual grape skins either from freshly pressed, or dried fruit, are added to produce beautifully rich and charismatic wines at their fullest potential.
100% imported Portuguese corks, along with decorative foils and artful labels make for a professional and beautiful finished product.
Your first visit kick-starts the process with the introduction of yeast to the must. Six weeks are then required for complete fermentation and filtration, followed by a return visit where you bottle and take your creation home with you.
A visit at the winery, whether beginning your journey as a wine-maker, or bottling a finished product, your stay here will be a delight. Helpful suggestions on how to serve and store your wines, complementary coffee an sweets, a tasting of your finished wine, and relaxing music are all part of the experience here at The Yonge Street Winery.
