Terms and Conditions of Sale; Shipping; Refunds and Returns; Privacy Policy



1.0.) Terms & Conditions of Sale:

1.1.) Items For Sale:

Yonge Street Winery offers for sale those items as listed in our e-store. In general, those items are:

a) Glassware, both as single units and in multi-unit packages

b) Cabinets, Coolers and Cellars

c) Kitchenware
d) Corporate gifts



1.2.). Pricing:

a.) Upon entering the web store, all prices are stated in Canadian Dollars.

b.) the total amount charged to the customer consists of the stated cost of the goods ordered plus handling charges, shipping charges and any applicable taxes (see (1.3), below).

1.3.) Taxes:
We add 13% HST to all Canadian destined orders. On orders shipped to Ontario, Canada, we add 13% HST. 



1.4.) Accepted Methods Of Payment:

a.) Yonge Street Winery accepts the following methods of payment for goods purchased:

i) VISA and MasterCard credit cards through our e-store and by telephone. Charges appear on your statement as “Yonge Street Winery”.

ii) personal and company checks received through the mail

b.) In the case of payment by personal or company check, goods are shipped immediately upon the check clearing the required financial institutions. Any resulting “hold period” is beyond the control of Yonge Street Winery.



2.0.) Shipping & Handling Charges:



2.1.) Additional Cost:

All shipping and handling fees are charged in addition to the costs of goods purchased and any applicable taxes. 



2.2.) Basic Handling – all orders:

a.) First Item: handling charge is $X.))

b.) All Subsequent Items: handling charge is $X.XX/additional item

c.) Handling charges are made in the currency of the respective transaction – CAD for Canadian



2.2.). Origins Of Shipment:

a.) All Canadian shipments are shipped from Aurora , ON, Canada, (Postal Code L4G 1N2).



2.3.) Default Shipping Carriers:

a.) All US shipments are sent via UPS Ground Service. 

b.) All Canadian shipments are sent via Canada Post.

c.) We will consult with international customers to arrive at the “best way” to ship international shipments. International customers, please contact us by e-mail to make those arrangements. We will not bill or ship international orders without customer-approved shipping instructions in place.

d.) Should a customer require the goods to be routed via a carrier other than our default carriers, the customer must provide us with the carrier’s name and their own account details with that carrier. We will not ship goods with a non-default shipper unless we are provided with a shipping account number with the desired carrier.



2.4.) Shipping Rates - General Information:

a.) Shipping rates are based on the rates provided to us through our current carriers and are subject to change when adjusted by those carriers. 
In general, our shipping rates are calculated by carrier established zones within both the USA and Canada. 

b.) In addition to the shipping information below, a current shipping rate calculator is available in the e-store. 



2.5.) Canadian Shipping Rates:

a.) The following rates apply for all products. All shipments are made via Canada Post. All Canadian Shipping Rates are stated in Canadian Dollars.

i.) Regional Rate for All Postal Codes in Ontario and Quebec: $6.45
 This rate is for postage only. Handling charges and taxes are additional.

b.) For shipments larger than the above, please contact us directly for a shipping quote. You can do this by phone at 1-888-815-9463, by e-mail at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it , or from the Yonge Street Winery website by clicking “Contact Us” on the home page and filling out and sending the e-mail form that comes up.

c.) Depending on your location, delivery will be within 5 business days of shipment. Yonge Street Winery is not responsible for Canada Post schedules or delays.



2.7.) Free Shipping:

We ship free, within the USA and Canada, any single order in excess of $200.00 (two hundred dollars), net of shipping, handling and applicable taxes, to an individual ship-to address.



2.8.) Order Turnaround:

We ship Canadian and USA orders within 72 hours of receipt. International orders are shipped upon receiving customer approval of the “best way” of shipping.
If there is a delay beyond that time, we will notify you.



2.9) Tracking Numbers:

All packages shipped via our default shippers are trackable. We can provide you with a tracking number if you wish. Please contact us as in (2.6 (c)) (above) or specify in your online order. We will provide the tracking number by e-mail, so you must include an e-mail address.



3 0.) Refunds and Returns:



3.1.) Returned Goods:

We will accept the return for refund of unopened products in their original condition.



3.2.) Time Limitation:

We will accept the return of purchased goods for a period of 30 (thirty) days following the customer’s receipt of the goods. 



3.3) Customer’s Responsibilities:

a.) It is the customer’s responsibility to transport the returned goods and the original packing slip and Yonge Street Winery issued R/A number to our office or distribution facility. Those addresses are, respectively:

b.) Prior to sending returned goods, please contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or at 1-888-815-9463 to obtain a Return Authorization (R/A) number. That number must accompany your goods and the packing slip. 
Your R/A number is the only way we have to track the progress of your return.

c.) Customers seeking refunds are best advised to include the packing slip and R/A number in a labeled envelope firmly attached to the returned goods. You are advised to keep a photocopy of those items as well, in case of loss in transit.

d.) In the absence of the original packing slip and the applicable R/A number, we are unable to refund charges.



3.4.) Refunded Charges:

a.) Upon our receipt of the returned goods, packing slip and R/A number, we will process the return. A re-stocking fee of $1.00 (one dollar) per item returned, charged in the currency of the transaction, is deducted from the refundable amount.

b.) The refundable amount consists of the billed amount of your purchase plus any applicable taxes, less handling charges and the re-stocking fee.

c.) We will issue credit or payment in the same form as payment was received by us.

d.) If the return is as a result of our error, we will refund the entire purchase amount, any taxes, the shipping and handling and will waive re-stocking fees (see below for further information).

e.) We will process your return as quickly as possible upon receipt of the goods and required paperwork. In general, expect the transaction to take 7 – 15 business days. Refund checks sent by mail will be in addition to that time.



3.5.) Damaged, Defective Or Erroneously Delivered Goods:

We will exchange damaged or defective goods and correct the shipment of erroneously delivered goods at our cost. We will pay the shipping back to our facilities and will also pay the return shipping of the replacement goods to your address.



3.6.) Rebates:
We do not offer rebates.



4.0) Privacy Policy:



4.1) No Third Party Uses:

Yonge Street Winery does not share its customer lists or customer information with any third party. Yonge Street Winery does not sell its customer lists or information.



4.2.) No Possession of Credit Card Information From E-Store:

Credit card information provided by customers at our e-store is not transferred to Yonge Street Winery. Our secure third party payment gateway service provider holds all credit card information in their possession and processes all credit card transactions. 
The information provided to Yonge Street Winery contains solely the customer’s name and address, telephone number, e-mail address, special order fulfillment instructions and the details of the order.
